Performance measurement remains a problem for businesses and other organizations. This book expalins why this is so, and why the balanced scorecard not only does not solve these underlying problems but may in fact make them worse. Suggests an alternative called activity based profitability analysis (ABPA) as a partial solution, especially to the problem of combining dissimilar measures.
