The stumbling block is the so-called judges issue. Mr Shariff's party insists that the judges removed by Mr Musharraf should be restored by an executive order based on a parliamentary resolution. At the moment most Pakistanis want the coalition to survive in order to address pressing issues such as inflation, unemployment, power shortages and capital flight. | ||
