The books are: Sukarno and the Indonesian Coup by Helen-Louise Hunter, The Sukarno file by Antonie C A Dake, and Anatomy of the Jakarta coup by Victor M Fic. All are said to be fatally flawed by uncritically relying on, and giving the same weight to, dubious sources including fake documents, interrogation transcripts, and military court testimonies. Hunter's book is in fact a reprint of report she wrote for the CIA that was first published in 1968, while Dake's reworks an earlier book on the same subject. | ||
