The last 2 chapters are mainly historical and deal with the enduring effects of war on the individual, and secondly, group performance in war. Much of the discussion covers organizational culture. It concludes that historically air forces have made similar and repeated mistakes in their preparation for combat.Human factor is ignored because of their slow rate of change compared to the quick posting cycle. Organisations too tend to have a singular theme which characterizes their view of themselves. | ||
