A biography of Sir John Bagot Glubb (1897-1986) also known as Glubb Pasha, a British soldier who transformed the Arab Legion (the Jordanian Army) into an elite fighting force. Glubb was a key figure in the history of British involvement in the politics of Middle East and was responsible for the understanding relationship between the British government and the Hashemite Royal Family of Jordan.
