COVERAGE:A dictionary of about 17,500 quotations from 2,500 authors. Each entry gives the author's name,lifespan dates, brief occupation descriptor e.g. American poet, followed by quotation with details of source - title, date and page reference (where known).ARRANGEMENT:Alphabetical sequence primarily by author surname, with the exception of Royal titles, authors known by pseudonym or nickname, and collections such as the Bible. Within each entry, quotations are arranged by alphabetical order of the titles of the works from which they are taken and each quotation is numbered.Includes a keyword index which refers to page and quotation numbers.
