<br/><br/> Increasing emphasis on littoral and EEZ operations highlights the requirement for high-performance low-cost two-dimensional surveillance radar systems. This article reviews several such systems including: the British Scanter 4100; a new version of the Dutch VARIANT; Italy's RASS RAN-30X/1; the Sea Falcon another Italian product; the British SharpEye; and the South African RSR 210N.
