KERR David

China, Xinjiang, and the transitional security of Central Asia / David Kerr with Laura C Swinton - 2008

China faces a continuing security problem in Xinjiang as well as in its broader dealings with Central Asia. Suggests that the SCO is more a means of constraining the political options of others than of promoting China's own interests, and that China will have to deal with transnational politics for a very long time in this region.
