<br/><br/> Despite being highly critical of the previous administrations air capability planning, Australia's new government is to proceed with the purchase of 24 Boeing F/A-18F Block II Super Hornet fighters to be operational by 2010. Cost will be around 6.6 billion AUD over 10 years.
