<br/><br/> Despite apparently halting its nuclear weapons programme in 2003 there remain doubts about Iran's intentions. This article suggests that a mix of international pressures may have prompted the 2003 decision, but progress towards completely revoking atomic weapons may have to wait until presidential elections in Iran and USA have been held in 2009.
