Contains a series of chronologies of terrorist events, each category being introduced by a short explanation of the content. The first five chapters cover social, nationalist, ethnic, religious and revolutionary terrorism in major world regions, e.g. Europe, North America, Latin America. Chapters 7 and 8 deal with radical Islamist terrorism and global jihad. Each dated entry gives brief details of a terrorist event or attack. The book has a glossary, bibliography, and detailed index via which all events related to a particular group can be found.
