Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) and the government failed to finalise a key agreement on an expanded Muslim homeland. Both sides had agreed to make the existing autonomous region in Muslim Mindanao as the core territory of a future enlarged version known as the Bangsamoro Juridical Entity.
