In India's lengthening shadow : the U.S.-Pakistan strategic alliance and the war in Afghanistan / Robert G Wirsing - 2007

Long term rivals and enemies India and Pakistan have competing interests especially for energy supplies with both actively pursuing energy sources in the Central Asian republics. These developments will affect Pakistan's strategic perceptions and may have negative consequences for America's foreign policy objectives in its relations with Pakistan.
