<br/><br/> Ministry of national defence (MND) has divided its over arching tasks into five categories reducing military manpower and correcting service composition of manpower : civilianisation of the MND : strengthening the joint chiefs of staff system, securing long term defence budget, and maintaining and developing the Korea-US alliance within the framework of a cooperative self reliant security policy.
