<br/><br/> The Republic of Korea (ROK) armed forces stand at a high level of capability and availability as an effective deterrent to democratic people of republic of Korea  military adventurism .The ROK maintains a sharp military standoff with the North which possesses 1.3 million active forces and 7.5 million strong reserve forces. the strategic mobile fleet will serve ROK well as an instrument of national policy not only within its territorial waters but also beyond in the cause of internationalism.
