<br/><br/> Despite deep seated reservations Russia has, over the last 15 years, been steadily developing pragmatic relations with China. This article considers Russia's underlying strategic vision and concludes that Russia sees itself in a unique position with historical and cultural links to Europe and growing economic interests with Asia.
