Nukes in the balance : the effects of proliferation on regional security/ Bharat Kamad - 2007

The presence of growing and established nuclear powers in a regional context can pose a significant challenge to regional security. The three regions of the world South Asia, Northeast Asia and Middle East with the most recent nuclear powers and those closest to attaining a nuclear capability. In this article the authors look at the impact of nuclear proliferation on regional stability in the post cold war era.
