This article examines the implications of three possible election outcomes. Three scenarios have been analysed using Jane's scenario modelling approach. Scenario one,postponing elections. Two, this scenario presumes that protests fail to gain wider political traction and that the draft constitution is approved. Three, a wealthy politician with an awareness of rural poverty as a political lever his populist policies.
