<br/><br/> This article examines Thai-Myanmar-ASEAN relations from 1988 until now.  It is divided into three sections first section  provides a broad historical overview of Southeast Asian international relations and ASEAN.  The second section examines the evolution of Thai-Myanmar- Asean relations since 1988 while the  third  looks at the international pressures that have been brought to bear on the bilateral relationship.
