Air-to-ground operations - London: Brassey's, 1987 - 152p. - Brassey's air power, aircraft weapons systems and technology series v.2 .

An introductorty or beginner level about defence in general and tactical doctrine in particular. A catalogue of the air-to-ground operational art within the size constraints. An attempt has been made to deal with some major areas that make for a successful fighter-bomber operation. The majority of the material bears upon the fighter-bomber and the Air Force has become increasingly a tactical, rather than a strategic air force. Lastly it is suggested that there may be ways to reverse that trend. The fighter-bomber provides the backbone of the offensive capability of the Royal Air Force. Air operation technology moves very swiftly forcing such changes in doctrine and attitude.
