Neoconservatism, US-China conflict, and Australia's "great and powerful friends" dilemma /

Australia has traditionally maintained good relations with both the United States and China. However as rivalry between the two powers increases Australia faces a dilemma of how to continue to live with both. This article analyses Australian foreign policy experiences and recommends that the country follow a more independent line with the objective of establishing a trilateral strategic forum between Australia, the USA, and China.
