Resolving internal conflicts in Southeast Asia: domestic challenges and regional perspectives / Michael Vatikiotis - 2006

Using events in southern Thailand as an example this article argues that internal conflicts continue to affect southeast Asia, are an obstacle to political reform, and that some are poorly managed. Describes other examples of internal conflict in the region and concludes with suggestions to help policy makers improve the conflict resolution process.
