U.S. cooperation in the war on international terrorists in Southeast Asia

<br/><br/> The Southeast Asian region continues to be of great economic and strategic importance to U.S. interests.  This article looks at the  relationship between the United States and the ASEAN community in a united front against international terrorists.  It also looks at U.S. partnership with Australia in order to intensify counter-terrorism efforts in Southeast Asia.
