The third side?: the multipolar strategic triangle and the sino-Indian rapprochement - 2005

Russia has been attempting to balance America's unipolar role in the international system. One of the ways it sought to do this was a three way arrangement between Russia, China, and India to serve as the foundation of global multipolarity. Until recently the plan had not been achieved, not least because of poor relations between China and India. This article considers what effect improving relations between New Delhi and Beijing will have on the future of the strategic triangle.
