Network-centric warfare and information theory - 2005

This article discusses how proven results from psychology, Shannon's information theory, plus detection and estimation theory can be used to provide quantitative description and analysis of large decision-making systems. Military command, control, communications, and intelligence (C3I) systems are highlighted, especially as seen against the prevailing discussion of network-centric warfare and network-enabled capability.
