Substantially updated but with the same arrangement as the first edition, this book but notes there have been some nonproliferation successes although North Korea and Iran continue to be categorised as hard cases. Appendices include the texts of the NPT and the Biologial weapons convention, as well as facts about the chemical weapons convention, nuclear suppliers, and the nuclear test ban treaty. A fold out map inside the back cover shows proliferation status in 2005.
