The US and its coalition partners invaded Afghanistan because it was a haven for terrorists. Iraq was invaded for a multi ude of reasons, including its sponsorship of international terrorism, possible development of weapons of mass destruction and violation of United natios resolutions. American leaders found these in vasions necessary to national security. America is taking the offensive denying terrorists refuge, identifying, blocking and seizing their finances and holding terrorists and their sponsors to account.
