<br/><br/> This paper argues that despite women's increasing presence and vital contributions as warfighters in the US Navy, two recent policy shifts risk undermining their progress. The author's experience highlight a lack of awareness regarding women's roles in demanding fields like submarine duty. Navy must acknowledge them as integral members of the fighting force.,
