N2  - The Taipan helicopter ditching occurred during a training exercise over water near Nowra on March 22 2023.  The crew suffered minor injuries, but the helicopter was extremely damaged. The entire Taipan fleet was retired early and is being stripped of any components of value. A defence report has identified pilot mistakes and inadequate training as major contributors to the ditching of a Taipan helicopter
