<br/><br/> About a new strategic alliance in the Indo-Pacific region and also plans to build 8 nuclear powered submarines.  China sees AUKUS as treat to its ambitions in Asia.  The obstacles and delays with France was a deciding factor to abandon the submarine project with France.  But also, with China being agressive, a new alliance with UK and US will help.
