<br/><br/> 15 September 2021 saw the formation of a new Australia-UK-US (AUKUS) defence partnership. It closed off France from its purchase of French submarines, hence humiliating her.  And is sending a signal to China that UK and the US is getting an alliance as close as Australia opposing China's expansion in the region.
