<br/><br/> In this paper further understandings of online news as a digital tactic by authoritarian states by analyzing fresh news as an integral part of the Cambodian government's digital and overall strategies for authoritarian stabilization. To understand what authoritarianism is in the contemporary world, argues for a shift in focus away from national regime types and the quality of elections, to authoritarian practices with fluid governance arrangements.
