<br/><br/> As part of the UBD's Institute of Asian Studies Working Paper Series, this paper describes the research project of a particular historical account, which enriches the historical narratives of World War Two's survivors in Brunei. From the study, the authors find that the conventional written sources and traditional history narratives fail to fully portray the circumstances and validity of ordinary peoples' experiences.
