<br/><br/> This special issue covers Russia in Global Affairs. This article in particular, analyses the evolution of Russian security thinking over the last 20 years. It focuses on the idea of Russia's own geo-economic and the goal of reducing the country's dependencies on the West. The security aspect of the article is understood both as a military-political and an economic phenomenon.
