This report proposeto exploit the synergism between long-range bombers and carrier-based aircraft. Used in conjuntion with each other could enable flexibility for emerging requirements of overseas presence, crisis management, counterterrorism, counterproliferation, peace support operations, major theatre warfare and possible conflict with near-peer competitor. Then if this is in place, it can make for a forward presence and time-urgent capability ideally suited for deterrence, regional stability and warfighting. Several program choices and invested were suggested. The authors describe the components of air power that relate not only to each other but to the broader goals of national security.
