<br/><br/> This article examines the diplomatic, economy, military and covert options.  US policymakers developed to support the South and enable it to 'survive' in one guise or another its last days.  Part one will examine US support Vietnam. Second part focuses on the initial period following the start of the North's military offensive, and the last part will look at the report produced in early April by US army chief.  The article will conclude with analysis of the international diplomatic efforts.
