<br/><br/> A study is done on the effect of the approach and departure in rotary wing aircraft which includes a sudden loss of external visual reference precipitates spatial disorientation. Participated by 10 Royal Canadian Air Force Griffon pilots, the article covers the method used and eventually the discussion on the result of the study.
