<br/><br/> This article discusses the rivalry between Japan and China where China is showing power dominance in the region.  Focussing on the seas, this article suggests that if Japan wishes to remain as a main player in the region, then Japan has to use military powers to veer off China's prominent presence and make the Asian seas and airspace "less and less hospitable to Chinese forces as they turn seaward".
