<br/><br/> Maritime tensions in the Asia-Pacific region are rising perceptibly. In a series of clashes and diplomatic wranglings that seems never-ending, China is a common denominator both in the South China Sea and East China Sea. The purpose of this article is not to assign blame but to investigate the trajectory of these disputes and their impact on military forces.
