<br/><br/> Asia Pacific countries are upgrading artillery capabilities in some cases using regionally developed or adapted products. Notes the BAE Systems M777A2 lightweight howitzer, the Korean Techwin K55 (variant of the M109A2), and Singapore's Primus (tracked self propelled howitzer) and Pegasus (helicopter transportable light weight howitzer) products. All are 155mm weapons. Also notes the importance of precision guided projectiles.
