The United States and Columbia: the journey from ambiguity to strategic clarity - Carlisle PA. USA: Strategic Studies Institute, US Army War College, 2003 - 78p. - Shaping the regional security environment in Latin America .

The United States and Latin America are developing greater economic integration but at the same time the security situation in a number of countries in the region has got worse.
