Review of developments by Thailand's armed forces including acquisition of Saab Gripen fighters, Saab AEW aircraft, possibly hosting Saab Fighter Weapon School, and upgrades to F15 and other aircraft. Meanwhile the Navy has new OPVs, an LPD, and new frigates expected 2018, while the Army has new tanks, AFVs, rockets, and air defence systems. Upcoming plans include replacement of older helicopters.
