N2  - With the hostage crisis that happened in Zamboanga City in 2013, which was initiated by the Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF), highlights the serious nature of ongoing governance issues in eastern Mindanao.  Although it is not expected that such clashes will affect beyond the region, it has however pointed out that security concerns in Mindanao may affect key agricultural and mineral-producing regions.  It may also affect the peace process that is happening between the Philippines government and the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF)
