<br/><br/> Republic of China or Taiwan is facing a crisis on its own especially with its neighbouring countries. The recent May 9 incident sparked the worst crisis between other neighbouring countries namely the Philippines which in more than a decade raised tensions in the already volatile South China Sea and highlighted the complicated nature of Taiwan's relationship with mainland China.
