Precision targetting have also enable to cripple routes in a short period of time.  Precision weapons can now destroy things accurately thus crippling the enemy's capability.  Precision weapons are a key characteristic of a modern military power.  It can constitute a powerful and significant argument for developmen of sophisticated attackers
