The paper addresses the development of Singapore defence, spending rationale, regional relationships, total defence and equipment. The country is also developing its defence industry through the ubiquitous Singapore tecnologies able to upgrade aircraft, build ships, produced armour vehicles and artillery, develop communications systems and manufacture the army's 5.56mm assault rifle.
