Neoliberaism and state terrorism in the Philippines: the fingerprints of phoenix / William N Holden - 2011

This article discusses the killing of activists in the Philippines and examines how killings constituted state terrorism. Specifically this article looks at how the killing of activists during the Macapagal Arroyo administration bore all the hallmarks of the phoenix program which was implemented by the United States during the Vietnam war. This article also seeks how the use of state terrorism in the Philippines from 2001 - 2010.
