Suggests that China may be developing an information warfare (IW) capability as a means of waging asymmetric warfare against the U.S. This IW capability is largely imitative of US' own approach and paradoxically is based not on espionage but on careful study of U.S. practices. Examines Psyops, Denial and Deception as the aspects most important to China and notes that with rapid advances in RMA technology it is possible for aspiring countries to skip generations to become modern sophisticated threats without making large scale financial investment.
