<br/><br/> This article reviews and offers a brief assessment of the key arguments made in Hindness' writings on democracy and democrization. In particular, it attempts to summarize the methodological steps through which Hindness angages conceptual critique. While offering an appreciation of Hindness' anaylisis, insight, and intellectual integrity, it also addresses some difficulties in his arguments.
