Section 2 provides details of mines and booby traps currently deployed, listed under country of manufacture. Each entry includes a photo and cross-section diagram where available; description; details of operation, neutralisation and disarming; technical specification; and general information including countries where deployed, emplacement, detectability, anti-handling, and blast resistance. Section 3 covers new generations of high technology mine which have not generally been used because of their prohibitive cost. Section 4 is a directory of the commercially available products and services which relate to mines. In particular, Minelaying equipment; Mine detection equipment; Mineclearing equipment; and associated equipment and services. Section 5 consists of maps and tables. The maps depict countries most threatened by mines; current and former producers of mines; and Nations supporting a global ban on anti-personnel mines.
